Jasiel tends to be quiet around cats that he doesn't know. He is very cooperative, considerate, and sympathetic to others (possibly to a fault.) Because of knack for cooperation, he is rather adaptable and balanced. Since he has grown, he is a little less shy and has less difficulty talking to strangers now. He is trustworthy and respectful of the opinions of others. He is growing up to be an excellent diplomat, showing many qualities of a mediator. He is often very intuitive. He likes detail and order, and subconsciously finds change worrisome, though he wouldn't admit it. When he moved to Air Tribe, he had trouble adapting, which was odd for him. But as a kit he felt out of place, and now that he is back in Light Tribe he feels much better about himself. He may sometimes feel insecure or restless, as if all eyes are on him. He has a deep desire for a stable community, which is one thing that he found in Light Tribe. His drives are to work with others, and to be openly appreciated. If he goes without praise for too long, he may start to falter and become withdrawn or even act out. He can take things personally sometimes, and often can be emotional and easily offended.


Likes:
He loves baths, they comfort him, and he loves to groom his friends.
He loves long, fluffy fur and will try to touch it... Unless someone catches him.
The colors of the sunsets. Pinks and reds and oranges are his favorite colors.
He loves trees. All trees. He is pretty good at climbing even!
He enjoys watching prey, seeing their behavior. Sometimes he feels bad for killing.
    

Dislikes:
Really dislikes not knowing things, or being kept out of conversations.
Annoyed by cats who stutter. (Not so bothered by stuttering now.)
Afraid of snakes and also a bit creeped out by lizards / geckos.
Hates factual inaccuracies, or when things just don't add up.
Has difficulty being the center of attention, would rather be away from a crowd.
 

[Build] He is just an average sized apprentice, not too big and not too little. He isn't very chubby, and his legs are rather long. He has grown more into his paws and ears, which look more proportionate now. Maybe he'll be a tall, handsome tom when he grows up!
[General Appearance] He looks a lot like Jace, with the tabby and cream colors of his coat. The brown stripes go along his spine and down his hind legs, with a patch of dark brown stripes on his left front leg. His most distinctive markings would be the one bold, white stripe on his tail, and the reddish-tan right front paw.

[Accessories] One pink Starstone necklace with a hawk feather attached by a copper binding.
[Scent] He smells like the Light Tribe dens, and sometimes like grass or pine.

History: [Pre-Kit-hood] Aiden and Jace were only mates for a short time when they decided to start trying for a family. Aiden moved to the Light-Tribe to be with Jace when the kits were born. Early one morning, she gave birth to six kits. The first kit was named Ridge, after Sabra. The second kit, another male, was named Soldier after Sojir. The third kit, the first girl, was named Eli after Shasta. The fourth kit, another boy, was named Ren after Ezekiel. The fifth kit, the last girl, was named Cas after Sylvani. And the final kit, another male, was named Arrow after Farox.

[Kit-hood] He's spent a lot of time in the nursery with his family, however, he seems to have spent most of his time with the other family in the den. Primrose is like a sister to him, and he is fairly close to Foxglove as well. He met Jasmine and dug holes with him, but also traveled outside of the camp with his brother Soldier and a pretty she-cat named Suki. He once met a Earth Tribe cat named Cooper and helped Primrose and Pangur "bless" an amethyst gem for the Scholar. Once, a tom named Yaeger took he and Primrose to go find bugs. Which also brings up the tale that Rookson told the kits once, about a big lunar butterfly that can be seen, but has never been caught... Arrow wants to catch it one day, and it seems that Primrose forgets about the moth as soon as something else comes up.

He has grown very close to the family of Sanibel and Pangur. He and Thistle are friends now, and even Mugi has become his adopted nursemaid. By the time his mother took him and his siblings back to the Air Tribe, he is very attached to them and does not want to leave. However, when they finally arrive at Air Tribe, he is forced into a new and strange place. He doesn't talk to much of anyone, except a couple of cats which tell him that if he plays in the snow for too long, he will die from a cold. Needless to say, Air Tribe was not his fancy. He became reclusive, and only ever brightened up when his mother took them to visit Light Tribe.

Speaking of visiting Light Tribe, he and the Sangur brood went and got their star stones together. Pangur even made their accessories for them, which made Arrow very happy... He now has the ability to talk to Primrose and Jasmine and even Foxglove whenever they like!

[Apprenticeship] It was finally the day for the ceremony. Arrow sat beside Primrose and the rest of his family. He followed the other kittens up and finally, his name was called. His true name. Jasiel. He was placed into Light Tribe with Primrose, which made them both very happy. However, he gets into a conflict with Primrose, who is now named Shinonome.  There is a misunderstanding, and they both end up mad at each other and unsure of why.

Training as a Healer is far harder than Jasiel thought it would be. Rookson is a tough mentor, and he insists that the tabby and cream not only learn to heal, but to fight, and to hunt. Hunting is something that Jasiel can understand, but fighting is something that does not come naturally to the apprentice. He is still small, and he doesn't want to battle anyone. Everyone that he has ever met has been nice and kind, and he sees no reason to learn how to fight them.

Jasiel and Shinonome finally approached each other about the conflict that they had. Shino had come to terms with his gender identity, but this only made Jasiel more confused. Even more so, Shinonome had caused a rift between Jasiel and his family, saying that his whole family was awful and upsetting his sisters very much... Because of this, Shino and Jasiel's relationship becomes very stressed.

At this point, the tabby and cream is unsure of everything. What was he to everyone? Not just Shinonome, but was he strange? Did he act odd, or seem distant? Was he a tom? Shino said that he didn't ever feel like a she-cat, and now he's a tom. Did it all even matter? Maybe that was why his brother Izanagi left the tribes completely and was no where to be found. Well, Jasiel refused to do the same. That was the easy way out, and he wanted to be here for the people who he loved.

Time went by fast when things got serious. A sickness arrived, and it seemed that everyone who was sniffling was suddenly in the Light Tribe and getting treated. It all became truly real to Jasiel when Shinonome became ill, and it was then that he was scared. Every moment, he was wondering if he was sick as well, and the constant paranoia was physically draining to him. However, he tried to remain helpful, and always offered his services to the sick cats who stayed in his Tribe.

Things took a turn for the worse when, almost out of nowhere, his parents were dead. They had been sick, they had been dying... Though he tried to remain positive when they first showed signs, their lifeless bodies proved how truly terrifying this sickness was. He felt detached, he felt strange. He felt as if he didn't get enough time. None of them got enough time... Jace and Aiden were gone now, and they were all orphans in this scary world now.

Roleplay Example: { White-Light ;; Jasiel ;; LT Camp } Jasiel perked his ears, watching the she-cat as she spread and flexed her toes. He wasn't aware that losing feeling had been a symptom, but then again, he wasn't quite sure what most of the symptoms were. He knew about the nausea and vomiting, because that was standard. He knew about the lack of hunger and the bleeding gums. He talked to a few sick cats already whose teeth were stained pink from blood. Other than that, he wasn't positive. He knew that his fellow tribe-mates were keeping a close eye on everyone, including himself, to see if they exhibited any signs. Taking in a breath, he nodded his head slightly. "I know that a lot of cats are very sick... Rookson won't let me get near the ones that are very bad." He blinked. Maybe that was why he hadn't really seen much of Shino. Shuffling his paws, the green-eyed tom look back to the dark she-cat. "What is your name?" He asked her, hoping to distract her from the sickness all around her. "You come from Earth tribe, right?" He smiled, as if glad to share his knowledge of the obvious. He had trouble remembering what all of the tattoos were in terms of origin, so he was proud of himself for knowing this one.
